The end of the 70’s, and everything starts from the love for black music. Black is the sound and the vibration that he spins on the decks; Black is the music that influenced him, that he explored and deepened during his first 20 years of career. Maurizio Gubellini has experienced the change, the evolution of the house music played around the Italian house clubs and instead of moving away from it, he actually became one of the first Italian djs that supported the music evolution. Today his sound is definately house music, ranging from electro house progressive to soulful without forgetting classic house tracks. His dj sets are eclectic, always different and they cannot last less than 2 hours. When he gets on the decks Maurizio has just one guide: his personal taste through which he always manages to fill up the dancefloors.

Gube runs his own label, SPECTRA. In the summer 2005, his track ‘Moscow Trip’ became an Ibiza and Mykonos anthem. SPACE CLUB in Mykonos included it in their big summer compilation of 2006. His remixes include Louie Padilla & Robbie Rivera – Sick and Global Deejay feat. Technotronic – Get up, an evergreen hit in an Electro-House style: this remix was Number one on the Beatport Top Ten Download chart for over a month. He recently remixed Benny Benassi’s single – Come Fly Away, released in October 2008 on Ultra records, and Robbie Rivera – Be near, released in December 2008 on Juicy record. Maurizio is the n.4 top Italian dj well on www.thedjlist.com and n.47 in the world ranking.
He is currently also working with M2O, Italy’s leading national dance music radio Station.
